Logo design in Colchester

A logo people remember, and trust.

Your logo is the first thing people see and the thing they remember. Work directly with your logo designer. We design yours around your business and your customers, show it on real signage, print and screens, and hand over every file you’ll need.

What every logo project includes.

Every logo project includes the research, concepts shown in context, refinements, a one-page logo guide and the full set of files.

Launching a new business, growing out of a logo that no longer fits, or tidying up one that’s never quite worked? We’ll tell you what it needs. If you want more, such as full brand guidelines, stationery, signage or a website, we’ll quote clearly before we start, with no hidden fees. Start with a chat.

How it works

A short brief and a chat about your business, your customers, your competitors and where the logo will be used most.

We agree what the logo needs to say and the look and feel to aim for, so every concept answers a clear brief.

Logo concepts shown on real things, from signage and business cards to your website and social profiles. Then we refine your chosen route together.

Final files in every format, a one-page logo guide, and help getting it onto your signage, print and website.

FAQs

Every project is quoted individually, because no two businesses need the same thing. As a guide, prices start from £600 for refreshing a logo you already have. A new logo, or a full brand identity with guidelines and stationery, is a larger investment, and we quote it up front so you know the full cost before we start.

From two weeks, start to finish, for a logo or a smaller branding project. Larger brand identities with guidelines and stationery take longer, and we’ll agree a clear timeline with you before we start.

Your logo is the mark people recognise. Your brand is everything around it: colours, fonts, tone of voice, photography and how it all works together across your website, print and social media. We can design just the logo, or the full brand identity.

Full-colour, one-colour and reversed versions of your logo for print (PDF, EPS) and screen (SVG, PNG), plus versions sized for social media profiles. You own them outright once the project is paid for.

Yes. If your logo has recognition worth keeping, we can refine it rather than start again: modernise the shapes, fix spacing and legibility, and tidy up the colours so it works everywhere.

We’re based in Highwoods, Colchester, and work with businesses across Essex and the UK. We’re happy to meet in person or on a video call, whichever suits you.

No, and that’s deliberate. Unlimited amends suggests we’ll keep going until we stumble on the right answer. Every design decision we make is based on your brief and our research, so we’re confident we can get you the logo you want, and deserve, within four rounds of amends.

Because more choice doesn’t lead to a better decision. Research into choice overload shows that when people are given too many options, they find it harder to choose and feel less happy with what they pick. So rather than a pile of ideas, we present three or four strong concepts, each built on sound design principles and each answering everything you want your new logo and brand to achieve.

Yes. All our clients have direct access to our designers and developers, so there are no confusing messages passed between account managers. From the first brief to the finished design, your message stays clear and consistent, and so do the designs.
